From the SW, bridleway via Neuadd-Fach and up valley to summit plateau. N over the plateau on good grassy track to summit of short grass on mainly gorse covered hillside. Trig pillar at high point.

I parked on minor road to the north about 200m west of the junction, walked up hill and south down track and onto Glyndwr's Way for a nice walk up to the trig.

vgc, metal cap, shallow letters. Grassy summit, scattered low gorse, fine view. Obvious path (Offas Dyke) from N. Dusk, last of the day. Very stormy wind but rain held off.

A favorite area,memories of doing Glyndwrs Way just as Foot and Mouth crisis was drawing to a close,lovely views even in inclement weather!Same approach as Rhayader, with parking just past the point where Path leaves the lane next to B and B

A lovely airy twenty minute each way from the north, parking just to the west of tynypant on the roadside. Easy rolling hillside with steady climb along Glyndwrs Way. Trig itself in great shape with lots of paint and a clear sight hole through. Regrettably the off to a meeting that over ran so the Builth Carneddau will wait to another day.
